Wartime Echoes of Hanoi

9:00 AM – Pick up from your hotel and meet your guide. 9:15 AM – Visit Hoa Lo Prison to learn about the war and the experiences of prisoners on both sides. (Approx. 45–60 minutes) 10:15 AM – Cycle to Hanoi Station to see how the city has transformed since the war years. Take a short break at Train Street for a drink — and maybe catch a passing train. 11:20 AM – Continue cycling along Kham Thien Street, once devastated during the bombings and visit the local war memorial. 11:50 AM – Explore the B52 Victory Museum to see aircraft remnants and wartime artifacts. Enjoy lunch at a nearby local restaurant. 12:40 PM – Visit B52 Lake, where part of the downed bomber still lies as a quiet reminder of history. 1:20 PM – Stop at Trúc Bạch Lake to see the monument marking where John McCain’s plane was shot down and learn about his story. 1:45 PM – Visit the historic Long Bien Bridge to hear its war stories and experience one of Hanoi’s most symbolic sites. 2:00 PM – Return to your hotel. Tour ends.
